OCSD Welcomes David Hobbs as Director of Bond Projects

We are very excited to announce that David Hobbs has joined the Oregon City School District team as our new Bond Program Director. David will be overseeing the implementation and progress of projects funded by our district’s recent bond measure, ensuring that we continue to deliver on our promises to our students, staff, and community.

David has 25 years of Design/Construction/Contracting/Planning/ Facilities Operations experience almost entirely within the education sector, including work on two previous bonds with Portland Public School District and North Clackamas School District.  He has worked locally in higher education for Portland State University and the University of Portland.

“I believe in the importance of transparency and accountability in publicly funded Bond programs, and I am excited to ensure that the Bond projects meet the community’s priorities and enhance the learning environment for Oregon City students.”

In David’s spare time, you may find him on the trails and slopes with his daughter and Siberian Husky.  He is also a live music enthusiast and will travel near and far for live music experiences.

Again, we are so excited to have David join our team and community and look forward to sharing the progress and updates on our bond projects as they begin to get rolling.
